About Stacy Rae

Cookbooks have been a staple in society for decades but a categorized cookbook with specific recipes using CBD to improve your health and mental well being is a relatively new concept. Stacy Rae’s cookbook, In the Kitchen with The CBD Recipe Guru features color coded  recipes that break down the how’s and why’s of cooking with CBD to enhance your health and mental wellbeing.

Stacy Rae began her journey when she began suffering from the maladies of aging. “I was experiencing chronic ailments like severe pain, anxiety, stress, inflammation and insomnia. I endured multiple major surgeries and weight gain due to inactivity from bad knees,” says Stacy.

Stacy found hope and relief from CBD and incorporated it into her daily routine for a prolonged medicinal effect.  “I enjoyed tremendous relief with virtually no side effects. I used less over the counter pain medicines and had less pain. I immersed myself in evidence-based research and scientific literature. I take CBD on a regular basis and remain in control of my health and feel vibrant,” says Stacy.

Stacy has written other books that put her on a path to write self-help books with a twist. As a former hippie who learned about cannabis, wellness and cooking during her tenure as a young person living near a commune in Oregon, she knew she wanted to write books that help people live happier lives. “I had a friend who was a licensing agent for Chippendale’s. As a result, I focused on that and wrote a recipe called, Oysters Rock Yer Fella.  It incorporated aphrodisiac foods, sexual scents and erotic eating along with a sensual story,” says Stacy.

Her debut book received critical acclaim. Stacy landed a major book contract and released In the Kitchen with the Chippendales; More Than 70 Romantic Recipes to Tempt Tease and Tantalize in the early 2000’s. “The book was an international hit selling over 50,000 books with sold-out book signings in the US, London, Amsterdam and Edinburgh. “I was an aphrodisiac author and was featured in Entertainment Weekly, Publishers Weekly, Playgirl, News of the World and more”, says Stacy.

Stacy’s new book is a result of combining her personal journal of health and wellness with her culinary background as an instructor, a chef, and the owner of a Mexican food line. It’s a user/manual cookbook with a learn-buy-use-cookformat.  It features an introduction to CBD,  user protocols, a CBD dosing diary and more. “The book is a hybrid that offers innovative kitchen tested CBD-licious recipes without the high, because not everybody wants to get high.  Some people want to get healthy, not high,” says Stacy.

As an educational and entertainment bonus, the book offers QR codes that can be scanned. You can listen to audio Mini Medical Moments with valuable CBD medical information spoken by  doctors. It also includes Guru Tidbits from Stacy on how to cook with CBD. Some of Stacy’s favorite recipes include: Cilantro Pistachio Pesto, Nutty Blueberry Buddha Bites, Lemon Pomegranate Spritzers and more. From coffee infused with CBD to Rum Cake with CBD and many more. The book includes dinners, appetizers, desserts and drinks.

There aren’t many cookbooks out there that focus on cooking with CBD and not getting high.  But there are many cookbooks out there about THC and getting high. “My book differs from others because it is a talking book with active QR codes that features audio companions. It’s a user-friendly educational tool with a complementary dosing diary, user charts and fun user profiles that  offer recipe selections from the book,” says Stacy.

Stacy’s recipe and cooking style is home-chef, casual, yet beautiful and not threatening or difficult. That style permeates throughout her book. “In my  cookbook, I look at the many recipes as a reinvention of a traditional dish or a deconstruction with a healthier aspect,” says Stacy.

Stacy’s Grandma Julia was her mentor in the kitchen and in life. “She lovingly shared the secrets of plants and herbs. She stressed the quote plants not pills for everyday wellness and showed me many medicinal remedies for tummy aches and beyond. Most importantly, she taught me that food can be a recipe for love,” says Stacy.

Stacy is adamant about helping others through her recipes. “Eating healthy is the key and you can enhance it with CBD,” says Stacy.
